On the 31st of July, 2015, West 8 was announced the winner of the urban design and landscape conceptual planning competition for Brunecker Strasse (Brunecker road) in Nuremberg, Germany. West 8’s design for the two stage competition will now continue to be developed into an urban design and landscape plan of the area. -

The City of Bruges has announced West 8 + Snoeck & Partners together with Atelier Roland-Jéol, as the winners of the competition for the redevelopment of the 't Zand, also known as Het Zand Square in the UNESCO town of Bruges, Belgium. Mayor of Bruges and jury member Mr.Renaat Landuyt commented that the winning "plan was revolutionary in its simplicity''. -

West 8 together with PLP Architecture, Arup and several other consultants are responsible for the development of the initial plans to transform the site, which are now being launched for consultation. -

The realization of the Noordwaard Bridges almost complete

Waterfront Toronto, in partnership with the City of Toronto has announced KPMB Architects + West 8 + Greenberg Consultants as the winner of the Jack Layton Ferry Terminal and Harbour Square Park Innovative Design Competition. Jury chair Donald Schmitt said the winning scheme took home top honours as much for its practicality as its “iconic” design. -
