West 8 Urban Design and Landscape Architecture

Twenty years ago on June 25, 1997 West 8 won the competition for Utrecht's Máximapark. The park's trust "Friends of Máximapark" celebrated this memorable date with West 8's project team. As a crowning glory, the park has been nominated for the Rietveldprijs 2017.

On June 20, the historic sculpture garden of the Dutch Kröller-Müller Museum was officially designated as National Monument. Adriaan Geuze has been preferred garden architect of the museum since 1995.

A new piece by West 8: Eve, completing our original 'Stolen Paradise' site specific installations to form a trilogy, becomes another permanant collection of MAXXI Museum.

An exhibition on West Kowloon titled CONSTRUCTING CULTURE - Hong Kong’s West Kowloon Cultural District, co-organised by the Hong Kong’s Berlin Economic & Trade Office will take place in Berlin at AEDES, an architectural forum in Berlin.
