Freiham Nord's public green space in Munich takes shape

Construction of the residential park of Freiham Nord project in Munich is taking shape. Giant natural rocks of over 10 tons and paving granite plates are West 8's design features that were being tentatively lifted to their positions, while the robust children playground was being materialised. Contruction of Freiham Nord's public green space and recreational area will continue until mid next year, ahead of the surrounding residential buildings, activating the whole neighbourhood together with three already in use schools and daycare centres.

Adriaan Geuze's interview on Coolsingel, TV RIjmond

Adriaan Geuze of West 8 explains the design of the Coolsingel, a 750 meter boulevard at the centre of Rotterdam which will undergo a metamorphosis in the coming 3 years: it will become a green city boulevard with allure, a "city lounge"; the core part will change into a car-free esplanade with space for walking, strolling and relaxation. Construction is underway and estimated to complete in 2020.
