Here is a promotional video produced by Friso Civiel, contractor of our Amsterdam Noorderpark Bridge. West 8’s proposal to link three disjointed parks in Amsterdam North by means of a broad circuit track is in full swing. Currently large sections of the track are being constructed and a new bridge connection, which spans across the canal will be opened later this summer.

West Kowloon Cultural District Park Proceeds to Construction Phase

The West Kowloon Cultural District Park has succesfully moved into the construction phase this spring. These images show the site in preparation for the great transformation.
West 8 began designing the West Kowloon Cultural District (WKCD) Park in 2014 in collaboration with local partners in Hong Kong DLN and ACLA, alongside WKCD's Park Development Authority. The park is based on the master plan of the etire cultural district previously designed by Norman Foster. West 8 is currently supervising the construction phase. Included in these photos is a combination facade-seating element tested on site last month.
