18-12-2018Since Team West 8 + Cetab + Sabine Haristoy + Les éclaireurs + Adema won the competition in 2016, Place Gambetta project has progressed further. Following a preparatory phase, the construction work has recently started.
The design reorganizes the traffic providing a generous space to the pedestrians and magnifies the existing heritage, the facades from the XVIII century as the central English garden. 33 new trees with varied foliage and blossoms will contribute to a better resistance to the traffic pollution, providing a new welcoming open "garden place" for the city.
